As part of Canada’s first-ever Tech Talent Strategy, Minister Fraser announced the launch of the Digital Nomad Visa, on the 27th of June 2023.

Digital Nomads are remote workers who usually travel to different locations using technology to do their work wherever they want.  

This program is targeting those working in Tech Occupations.

As a Digital Nomads in Tech, you will not need a work visa to work remotely from Canada and can do so for up to 6 months at a time.  Working from within Canada has many benefits such as networking abilities, assimilating to the culture and above all an opportunity to explore all that Canada has to offer.

• Full time employment from an employer outside Canada
• Ability to work remotely verified by employer.
• Proof of Funds (3 to 6 months bank statement)
